Pieces of ancient wetland oak wood, each with an extremely beautiful grain served as a model for the ten plunger-action fountain pens of the “Pen of the Year 2012 Diamond Edition”, which commemorates the 10 th anniversary of the Pen of the Year Collection. The structure of each piece of wood was captured in an elaborate procedure, and then cast in solid 18 carat (750) gold. Each fountain pen is unique.
